Congratulations Brother Tom Fraser on your Retirement

The Executive board, staff and all of the brothers and sisters of Teamsters Local 419 would like to congratulate Tom Fraser on his retirement.
Tom, former President of Teamsters 419, Teamsters Canada Vice President and International Vice President will be retiring at the end of March 2012 after over 25 years leadership and service to the Teamsters.
Tom dedication, leadership, and commitment to the membership of Local 419 is highly commendable and has positively shaped the foundation and direction of local 419.
The brothers and sisters of Teamsters Local 419 wish Tom and his family all the best in his retirement!

JAMES R. HOFFA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND 2012-2013 ACADEMIC YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS

Teamsters Local 419 is proud to be a part of this very worthwhile cause.
Some of the requirements include an Academic Record completed by the applicant’s guidance counselor, containing the student’s rank in his or her high school class and bearing the school’s official seal. Attach a list of activities, work experience, distinctions and achievements etc. For full details you must see the Application Form or go on the website.
The deadline for submission entries is March 31, 2012 for students who will be starting University in September 2012. Applicants must be a child or grandchild of a Teamster Member who has been in good standing over the previous twelve (12) months. Entries must be returned to Teamsters Local 419 and signed by the Secretary Treasurer before being forwarded on to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. (RECOMMENDED SUBMITTING COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TO THE SECETARY TREASURER 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE APPLICATION DEADLINE).
