Ride 4 KIDNEY Hello Everyone, Gina & I would like to thank everyone who helped out and supported the Ride 4 Kidney^© this year! We all had a great time and the entertainment was excellent! Ride 4 Kidney^© in Mississauga raised over $18,000, and Timmins raised over $3,000! Together we raised over $21,000!!! Outstanding!! A special Thank you to our emcee's, Lea Cater & John Bakker from Country 95.3 & Y108 for doing a fantastic job! You guys were awesome! We want you back next year! I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of your contributions and support towards the Motorcycle Charity Ride 4 Kidney 2008! A Huge thank you to Tom Fraser and everyone at the Local 419 office for matching all of the brother & sisters donations made, donating the BBQ, food, & drinks! A Big thank you to Vince Droullard & Mike Milroy for manning the BBQ all day for this event! Awesome! In Mississauga we raised over $19,000, Timmins raised $2.700, and London raised Raised over $4,000! Together we helped raise over $25,000! Thank you to all my brothers and sisters who contributed to the Ride 4 Kidney!I hope that we can count on your support in 2009 with continued success. This event was started because of my son Michael who had complications since birthand needed surgery at six years old. He is doing fine now and we are thankful for that. I would love to see all you riders out there join me on this year’s ride. I am pleased to announce that Teamsters Local 419 will be matching ALL donations made by every union employee through the union office up to $30. Please call Debra at 905-670-4190. A donation of $20 will receive a 5^th anniversary t-shirt and will entitle you to a receipt from the Kidney Foundation. We thank you for your support and generous donations in the past.
